Those of you who know and love The Copse may have been surprised to see it featured as a ‘Hilltop Hideaway’ on Sunday night’s broadcast of BBC TV’s Country File. If you get a chance do have a look, particularly if you are interested in photography on the BBC iPlayer.
The Copse was used as the venue for John Craven and Deborah Meaden of Dragon’s Den to judge the final of the photographs to feature in the Country File Calendar for Children in Need.
The Country File team loved the privacy of the setting and the ‘safari style’ in the middle of the Chiltern Hills and were particularly interested in our wildflower meadow, which is becoming an established home to all manner of plants insects and bees.
Here we feature a few screen captures from the program.
